General Summary: Responsible for maintaining the data in the HRIS, processing and documenting employee assignment changes and personnel records.

Analyzes and coordinates day-to-day information needs for various human resources functions and records required data in the human resource information system (HRIS).

Coordinates with payroll/finance changes related to salary, cost center, and time management changes on employee records.

Designs and generates standard reports from the HRIS and customized HRIS reports for special projectsEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Process personnel assignment changes in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) submitted to the HRMS team by HR personnel.

Works with HR staff to process PAF, tracking employee training, update EE personal information, and any other data maintenance in the HRIS.

Generates weekly standard reports from the HRIS to audit the EE records for completeness and integrity.

Assists with mass assignment changes and special projects implementation that require cross-functional updates or reconfiguration.

Maintains the personnel files to match to assignment changes during the employment lifecycle.

Runs 3rd party interfaces and coordinates assignment changes with the payroll department.

Process, files, and tracks severance release agreements and records severance amounts in the HRIS.

Reports monthly severance activity to support accruals reconciliation with Finance.

Works with staff to design and document business processes, workflow, output (views, queries, interfaces and reports), and data retention requirements.

Generates standard reports from an HRIS, and designs new reports using Oracle Discoverer Tools.

Assists with project feasibility studies and business case development and links operational initiatives to appropriate management tools, solutions and capabilities.

Maintains the integrity of data in the HRIS as well as documenting consistent and appropriate data coding structures.

Responds to Remedy tickets and follows through with user requests until the case has been resolved and closed.

Updates and documents the security responsibilities for HR applications under the HRMS management supervision.

Analysis data discrepancies and reported issues and communicates outcome to HRMS team and/or end-users as required.

Interacts with users and other IT/Applications System Group professionals for needs assessment, troubleshooting, data reconciliation, process improvements, recommended solutions, and implementation applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in business, liberal arts (psychology, sociology, etc.) or equivalent.

This is an entry-level position usually requiring less than 18 months experience in HRIS functions.


Licensures: N/A
Relevant Work Experience: HRIS system data processing.

Troubleshooting and end-user support experience using case management tools.

Basic knowledge of HR operations and administration.
