HR Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs Job in New Jersey US
The HR Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs provides strategic HR consulting and organization effectiveness for the Global Regulatory Affairs Organization (GRA) and is a member of the Pharmaceutical R&D HR team.
The position will partner with leaders and their staff in assigned client groups in the following areas: alignment to the new organization design, leadership and employee development and coaching; team development; change management; talent management and development; culture development; driving retention and engagement.
The position will be responsible for supporting the employee relations needs of the organization and will be the primary point of contact for operational issues related to organization structure, data and global HR processes needed to bridge HR Transformation implementation schedules.
The position will play a role within the HR Team in the development of an HR Strategy for this client group as well as an overarching strategy for GRA. These strategies will align with an overall HR Strategy as well as with the Pharmaceutical R&D objectives.
The position operates very independently and must be able to assess organizational issues quickly and be proactive in developing solutions and approaches to move the business forward.
The position requires excellent matrix management skills in order to effectively support GRA and remain aligned with HR Strategy and Goals and with other strategic sites.
The incumbent will serve as liaison with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to provide innovative and appropriate solutions to the business.
The BBHR role will be supported in its strategic role by value-added services provided by COE's eg Total Rewards, Recruitment and Talent Management.
The position will require that the BBHR carry out the HR processes related to COE strategies.
The individual may hold other department or functional responsibilities, i.
e., Cross-Pharm committees, or cross R&D work streams/projects.
In this role, the incumbent will regularly interact with Leaders and their teams, other HR colleagues as well as, J&J Shared Service COEs, Process Excellence, Finance and Communications.
The individual will be responsible for executing on J&J's vision of HR Excellence and the Global HR Transformation (GHRT), providing operational support to the organization in any HR process transitions.
QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business or a related field is required.
A Master's degree is preferred.
This position requires 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience including at least 5 years of demonstrated successful client support.
Previous experience working in a Pharmaceutical R&D matrixed environment is preferred.
A proven track record of delivery, proactive solutions and a business mindset is a must.
In addition, successful professional should have a performance record of hands-on experience in both creating and implementing customized solutions and strategies to improve organization effectiveness.
Incumbent will have demonstrated capacity to skillfully communicate with all levels of employees and influence outcomes and establish credibility as a skilled HR business partner with leaders.
Analytical skills and the ability to work through complex business issues and identify required HR interventions, and the ability to set priorities and manage a variety of tasks are also required.
This individual must have strong demonstrated skills in organization design and effectiveness, building and developing teams, and must be capable of delivering the full spectrum of HR generalist and organizational development support to meet both current and future needs.
This requirement includes: Organizational design and effectiveness, change management and culture development, talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
This position requires travel among several sites including Titusville, Raritan and Chesterbrook/Springhouse, PA and must coordinate HR strategies and actions with BBHR's supporting clients at sites in Beerse/Mechelen, Belgium, High Wycombe, Leiden and Singapore.
Regular presence at all sites is critically important in order to build and maintain relationships and to provide ongoing support to the organization.
This position is US East Coast based in Titusville or Raritan.
