HIM Director Job in San Francisco, California US
Our client is seeking a HIM Director in Northwest Arizona.
This is a working director position and will need to know how to code Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) charts.
Including: Understanding of Coding, ROI and medical transcriptionProficient at ICD-9 codingPrivacy Officer experience is preferredExtensive experience communicating with medical staff to include RN's and MD'sGood track record of managing budgets and finishing projects on time and under budgetPreferred: BA degree, but will review candidates with AA degreeJCAHO Survey preparedness and reportingPhysician Education / Documentation experiencePolicy and Procedure Development experienceTechnical Skills: IP and OP CodingElectronic Medical Record Systems experienceCultural/Soft Skills: Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenCapable to gain rapport with HIM Staff, Administration and clinical staff - MD's and RN'sRequirements: RHIT or RHIA certification.
Member of AHIMAStrong leadership skills within Health Information Management5+ years of previous HIM Management / Director experience within an acute care facility
