HEDIS Medical Review Nurse Job in Stockton, California US
Yoh Health Care is looking for a HEDIS Medical Review RN to join our customer in Stockton, CA. The Nurse would be responsible for:
Integrating data collected from a variety of sources including to but not limited to: medical records, immunization registries, member documents and provider offices.
Requests and review appropriate medical records.
Participates in medical record collection and validation review process for HEDIS and other projects as indicated.
Educates providers and office staff about medical records and clinical standard guidelines.
Assists in defining opportunities for improvement through analysis of patterns and trends and communicates these appropriately.
Communicates significant findings, including potential risk management issues to the Quality Management lead in a timely manner.
Performs on-site medical record reviews.
Follows appropriate procedures for scheduling, requesting, and reviewing records while on-site at provider offices and hospitals.
Prepares additional reports as needed.
Collaboratively works with other departments.
Skills and Experience: Required:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience
Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Review/HEDIS/Data Abstraction Preferred:
Bachelors degree
