If so, the Media Analytics Services group in US Microsoft Advertising may have the perfect opportunity for you.We are looking for a Group Manager, Media Analytics to lead an analytics team within the Media Analytics Services group.

This role will be responsible for leading a team of 6-7 media analytics managers in providing advertiser and audience insights to US Sales & Service teams in Microsoft Advertising.

Core responsibilities: Lead a media analytics team to enable Sales & Service teams to create actionable insights and respond to RFPs with analytics & insights in order to drive revenue and customer satisfaction Guide the team in creating a clear strategy to identify strong vertical opportunities and grow revenue from the teams book of business Supervise the generation of high impact analyses from external and internal data sources, creating actionable insights that encompass markets trends and information, and ensuring that internal stakeholders have the information necessary to make informed recommendations to customers Hire, inspire, coach, and evaluate the performance of the media analytics team Champion, communicate, and take personal accountability for the team's success, and establish goals, metrics, and targets to drive performance in alignment with the broader revenue goals and company strategies Manage multiple concurrent work streams of media analyses and leverage best-suited methodologies and practices Manage the allocation of resources across multiple priorities Work closely with the Sales and Service management to understand the companys strategic objectives and develop initiatives to make progress against those objectives Ensure rigorous quality control over data and analyses Maintain thought leadership on customer insight concepts, analytical methodologies, and industry best practices Ensure strong teamwork and collaboration between the team members through aligned goals and commitments Benchmark the team against competition and continually improve the quality of the output Build strong partnerships with other Media Analytics Services teams, to ensure solid collaboration on mutual commitments, and to support broader US Sales & Service goalsEducation and experience: EducationBA/BS in a quantitative field such as business, finance, mathematics, economics, or operations research is required.

MBA or an advanced degree is preferredWork Experience 7+ years in media analytics role within the online marketing space, at least 3 of which should include display advertising experience at a major publisher or ad network, agency, or large online marketer 4-6 years of management experience Manager with a proven track record of strong leadership skills.

Experience with managing remote teams is beneficial Solid experience with creating marketing insights and analyses for advertising campaigns Experience with analysing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets, and an ability to create a compelling story with the data Proven project management experience with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects with different degrees of scale.

Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, budget, and execution.

Ability to communicate complex or sensitive business issues to senior management with clarity and persuasiveness Advanced proficiency with MS Excel & other MS Office applications Familiarity with SQL queries and OLAP cubes Familiar with complex, large-scale relational databases, statistical programs and other tools to compile and interpret quantitative data.

Extracts accurate conclusions and identifies trends from quantitative information.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and writen.
