Leading international virtual reality technology company needs an experienced graphical engineer to serve in a full-time onsite role for one of its Fortune 500 global manufacturing clients.  This technology company has been recognized in the retail industry as the defining standard in the creation of smart interactive retail worlds.  Our proprietary technology delivers a pantheon of business applications as well as measurable cost savings, flexibility, speed and control in the core areas of marketing research and merchandising.  Scope of Work·   Responsible for the work of using the company’s proprietary technology to create environments in such areas as new product visualization, promotional activity development, planogram rationalization and category management. ·   Serve as the virtual reality champion and problem-solver for the client offering technical guidance for business discussions.·   Educate Customer on the technical aspects of company’s core capabilities and serve as presenter of those capabilities to client internally and for client externally. ·   Serve as internal liaison for key workstreams using the technology to drive collaboration inside client.  ·   Serve as liaison with customer and company internal staff to establish the best technical approach/tool to use to effectively and efficiently deliver project objective.  ·   Identify new customer needs/opportunities for proprietary software/hardware and communicate internally ideas to drive client utilization of company’s suite of tools.·   Responsible for all technical aspects of customer presentations from initial setup/flying the presentation to answering post presentation questions. Qualifications3ds Max 2008 - Familiarity with technical concepts of modeling towards real-time.Game industry experience, in particular familiarity with technical concepts of modeling and texturing towards real-time. Skilled in Adobe Photoshop CS3; Adobe Premiere CS3 Digital Photography background preferred Excellent Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word knowledge.Creator or working knowledge of any Real-Time Renderer. Solid IT skills a plus. Strong business acumen and knowledge of category management and marketing research a plus Proven ability to deliver quality projects under tight deadlines in a structured and orderly manner Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow through Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment Demonstrated ability to follow direction using defined processes to advantage project delivery
