This international law firm is seeking a Global Financial Operations Manager to be based in their Monmouth County location.
This position will focus on supporting the management of the global financial operations and ensuring they are fully compliant with statutory requirements related to financial reporting, VAT, GST and tax compliance.
This manager will manage global projects relating to treasury functions, year-end audits, statutory tax audits, and adhoc projects and global reporting.
Position requires a working knowledge of international accounting standards, experience interacting with global financial personnel and working knowledge of Value added tax, GST and Financial Accounting Standards No[^%dot%^
52. Responsibilities — Assist with development, approval, and implementation for policies and procedures that affect the global financial operations.
— Support Global Finance Managers on unresolved issues relating to billing and collections.
— Analyze variances and trends on the comparative financials for each international office.

Managing the year end statutory audits and ad hoc audits, if applicable.
— Preparation and monitoring Cash flow forecast for international offices.
— Requesting funds transfer with adequate support.
— Provide guidance on ad hoc accounting and reporting issues/transactions.
— Experience with project managing and process re-engineering activities — Process and detailed orientated with the ability to restructure and streamline — Responsible to work on international finance projects, as requiredQualifications— Accounting degree, CPA preferred — 7+ years in industry, professional services or public accounting — Must have international accounting experience — Great Plains experience a plus — Experience working and accounting for foreign currency transactions — Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and FRX — Ability to demonstrate self motivation and ownership of assigned work — Ability to interact with legal and administrative personnel in domestic and foreign offices — Strong written and verbal communication skills — Ability to keep manager abreast of all issues
