Geospatial Analyst Job in Suitland 20746, Maryland US
Provide written and verbal intelligence analysis services (products, briefings, and expertise) in support of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) missions.
This support may include, but is not limited to, answering NSW-related queries or requests for information (RFI) from NSW / NECC elements or other agencies, providing input to analytical products, commenting on analysis, writing analytical products, developing briefing materials, and assisting with briefings.
Analytical support will include geospatial, imagery, SIGINT (tactical and strategic), and all-source analysis components.
Analytical Intelligence support to Special Operations and expeditionary forces.
Identify data shortfalls in interagency, joint, inter-departmental DoD, areas and/or events of interest and communicate them to ONI Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center.
Requirements: -A current SSBI-Candidate must have an expert understanding of geospatial intelligence support to tactical operations as it applies to current Naval Special Warfare and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command operations.
-Candidate will be required to have expert knowledge of current GEOINT software and hardware used to conduct their analysis, prior experience supporting clandestine, combat, and controlled operations.
-Candidate must possess expert knowledge of NSW and SOF doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP); and Tactical Cryptologic and Intelligence Information Support (TC/IIS) organizations, functions, procedures, missions, and equipment.
Must have knowledge of the Defense Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution System (PPBES).
Candidate must have knowledge of project/ program management procedures.
Must have the ability to plan and execute deployment orders for teams and individuals.
-Candidate will have knowledge sufficient to provide expert opinion, assessments, and thoughtful analyzes of products.
-Candidate will have analytical skills to develop, coordinate, and execute complex and integrated tasking and be able to communicate orally in order to present high-level briefings in both field and office settings.
-Candidate will coordinate with all levels of authority, senior and junior, and must be able to communicate effectively in writing sufficiency to produce comprehensive, structured reports, analyses, comparisons, and other documentation.
