General Manager - Plant Manager180k to 275k plus Car and ExpensesResidential and Relocation Candidates are both welcome to apply to this positionOur client, is one of the top companies in the world with full capabilities in automotive powertrain design, development, testing and manufacturing is seeking a General Manager Plant Manager for one of their key plants in Mexico.
This is an outstanding company that offers excellent compensation and strong career growth! Key responsibilities: ·Divisional Performance Responsible for achieving Divisional goals, as established in collaboration with the Global Product Group Vice President.
Within this framework, the General Manager is responsible for setting short term and supporting long term Product Group goals.
This includes establishing and managing the budget, and achieving forecasted profitability to support the long-term growth of the Division.
·Operating the DivisionThis task is directly aligned with the Division objectives and all applicable government regulations including environmental, health and safety.
·SalesSupport the business development efforts of the Global Sales and Marketing organization.
·Capital expenditure recommendationsTake into consideration existing MPT capacity/equipment/facility utilization, to optimize MPTs cash flow when making investment decisions.
·PurchasingWork in collaboration with Purchasing to achieve the Division savings targets while ensuring the best quality and delivery performance.
General Managers will be active members of the supplier selection process.
·Product and Program Manager collaborationWorking with Product Managers to align our strategies within the Divisions and Product Groups, as well as working with the Program Managers to ensure the successful launch of programs on-time and according to budget.
·KMIsResponsible for meeting and continuously improving key KMI targets relating to production, quality, safety, cost, customer satisfaction, productivity and people.
·CommunicationCommunicate the Corporate and Division messages and initiatives (including but not limited to Shifting Gears) throughout the Division.
·Technical BackgroundResponsible for strong knowledge of how the plants products work, what products are manufactured in the Division and how they work in a vehicle.
