Food Service West Area Manager Job in Los Angeles, California US
The Hershey Company is seeking a dynamic individual with previous Food Service account management experience to join our Global Sales organization.
The Food Service West Area Manager will be responsible for calling on corporate Food Service accounts in the Western US, as well as having broker management responsibility.
Summary: Achieve established sales objectives for Food Service products through effective management of brokers and cultivation of national and regional accounts in a specified geographic area.
Utilize the performance management process to manage and motivate a highly effective broker team.
Develop key decision makers with strategic accounts to positively impact business.
Conduct customer and broker reviews to evaluate and adjust go to market plans.
Responsibilities: - Achieve sales plan through a specific number of brokers in a geographic area by providing direction and training to broker teams.
Develop key decision makers with customers and brokers to positively impact business.
- Recommend, hire, train and develop brokers in a geographic area of responsibility.
Manage the business by developing sales and marketing plans and business building opportunities for the markets and assigned brokers.
Communicate and correspond with appropriate Hershey Company personnel.
Provide broker team with ongoing direction, training, coaching and counseling.
Measure and monitor execution of action plan.
Utilize the performance management system.
- Target and cultivate national and regional accounts to increase brand exposure and achieve sales plan.
Develop key decision makers to positively impact business.
Manage the business by developing sales and marketing plans for specific accounts.
