Floor Help (1897) Job in Elk Grove Village
DescriptionPerform various general duties on web presses, including packing product, keeping the press area clean and organized.
Responsible for taking product off the press, packing it, and preparing it for shipping as directed by the packer, 2nd press operator, or the 1st press operator.
Accurately follow all procedures related to packing imaged product.
Be able to identify basic quality issues, and alert other crew members.
Responsible for replenishing supplies, which includes roller wash, rags, and card board.
Clean catwalks and wipe down press.
Maintain general appearance of surrounding press, which includes picking up paper and waste, wiping spills, and cleaning machine according to 5S standards.
Take direction from press crew during make-ready and complete assignments in a timely matter.
Assist with press lubrication and preventive maintenance.
Perform other duties as directed by press personnel or supervisors.
