Financial Services Java Developer with Agile – Lead Senior Consultant Job in New York 10173, New York US
Job ID: 4561Position Description: SunGard Consulting Services combines business and technology know-how to help financial services and energy companies transform and excel.
Through SunGards global delivery model, more than 1,000 SunGard Consulting Services consultants in 14 countries assist customers with business process management and business analysis, information management, systems integration, custom application development, and application management.JOB SUMMARY: Analyze, design, architect, and implement software solutions for clients in the Financial Services industry.
Analyze functional, technical and business processes.
Work with clients to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures.
Capture, organize and document functional and technical specifications.
Develop solutions using Agile software development methodologies, including architectural designing, Java coding, database programming, and unit, integration and performance testing.
Position Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or directly related engineering field.
Five years development experience using all aspects of J2EE (Java, JSP, EJB, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI, RMI, JMS, JTA, JCA, and XML) and using Object Oriented Programming Concepts, J2EE patterns, core java design patterns, and UML in creating design artifacts.
Experience must include: two years financial software development experience; three years Agile experience; Struts; Webservices; and, Weblogic, Websphere or JBoss.
Ability to travel 50%.
