Financial Reporting Analyst - Contract Job in Bedford, Massachusetts US
Technology Co. in Bedford seeks CPA (Oracle) with a strong reporting background for six month assignment.
Skills and Abilities: CPAStrong operational accounting and financial reporting experienceExperience with Oracle FinancialsMeticulous and detail-orientedDeadline focusedAbility to interact with external auditors, general and cost accountants, executive leadership, and clerksStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) Major Functions: Prepare numerous account reconciliations (including equity accounts, purchase accounting, lease accounting, audit and legal accruals, etc.)Assist with preparing 10Qs and 10Ks as required (preparing document drafts, reference aids, support roll forwards, document support binder, etc.) Interact with external auditors during the audit of the 10Qs and 10Ks, with the purpose of solving questions and issues raised during the course of the audit (researching audit requests, assisting with issue resolution, etc.)Post journal entries (equity, purchase accounting, STAT entries for payroll and backlog, etc.) Manage the quarterly Supp A process interact with all subsidiaries (world-wide basis) to ensure the Supp A form is completed correctly, timely, and accurately.
Research issues with an impact to the Statement of Cash FlowsPrepare, review, and write technical accounting position papers as considered necessary.
