Financial Planner/Advisor Job in Carmel 46032, Indiana US
This position has the responsibility of servicing and administering current clients jointly with the managing principal.
This person will be required to gather, interpret, process and coordinate financial data in order to assist in developing new client relationships and continue servicing established relationships.
This person will also be responsible for developing new business opporntunities jointly with the principal.
Various daily activities include setting up new investment accounts, running analysis reports, preparing and processing paperwork for client accounts, developing new business opportunities, and assisting with participant education programs for retirement plan participants.
Compensation includes a base salary plus bonus/commission.
Requirements: Prefer a minimum of two years experience with investments, qualified retirement plans, long term care insurance and life insurancePrefer a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, financial planning, economics or accountingMust have current FINRA licenses (7 or 6, 66 or 65 & 63)Indiana Life & Health license must be obtained prior to employmentExcellent verbal, organizational and communication skills required.
CFP® designation, or education towards it, is a plusPosition requires strong presentation skills, professional attire, and the ability to resolve issues effectively.
Candidate must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the financial services industry.
