Financial Cost Accountant Job in Faribault 55021, Minnesota US
Job Description: Manufacturing company has an open opportunity for a Financial Cost Accountant that will work directly with the company's senior management team.
This position will have exceptional career growth opportunity in this role with potential ability to move into a management level position within Corporate Finance.
Main Responsibilities Include: * Manage inventory sub-system in Oracle including data integrity, month-end transactions and reporting* Perform quarterly Excess and Obsolete inventory analysis and recommend corrective actions* Prepare and lead the manufacturing and inventory variance analysis and reporting* Work directly with production planning to identify opportunities to significantly increase inventory turns* Prepare and distribute weekly interim income statement* Assist with preparation of monthly rolling forecasts, annual budgets and monthly reporting packages* Assist operations mgmt to prepare ROI calculations on potential capital expenditures* Analyze trending and actual vs. budget/forecast variances* Assist with standard costing duties (rate development, cost updates)Requirements: * Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance * Demonstrated success in a manufacturing environment (preferably in printed circuit board or semiconductor industry)* Must have strong communication and project management skills * Excellent Microsoft Excel and Access skills* Experience in ERP, Inventory and Cost Accounting* Oracle preferred; APICS certification a plus.
