Financial Coordinator Job in New York , New York US
Job Description: The Financial Coordinator provides overall financial support for the Page and William Black Post-Graduate School for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
1. Provide financial guidance and support through tracking revenue/expenses and monitoring individual internal accounts2Serve as financial liaison to the Office of Medical Education; work with staff to implement practices which enhance CME operations3Prepare necessary reports for the Director and other staff and management4Aid the Director with financial documentation and transactions: a.
Perform monthly billing from Mount Sinai departments, external institutions, commercial supporters, and other organizationsbDeposit all revenue and perform appropriate transfers of revenue, coding each to individual internal accountscMonitor all credit card transactions and process appropriately5Analyze office operations to determine most cost effective and efficient manner of obtaining and providing services6Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction7Assist with on-site management of financial operations during live courses8Perform other related duties.
Job Qualifications: Minimum of Associate's degree in finance/accounting or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
Two years of related experience in office financial management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to write reports and correspondence and create effective presentations; Ability to manage multiple projects; Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
