Financial Analyst Job in Gainesville 30501, Georgia US
Mansfield Oil Company is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to work as a Financial Analyst.
This position is responsible for developing and executing a framework for analyzing the financial performance of the company, including developing business models/cases to support the budgeting and acquisition due diligence processes.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Develop and present executive level monthly financial analysis reportsWork across the company to define drivers of budget variances and work to ensure understanding / addressing of issuesInstitute business case process / modeling to support company initiativesProvide analysis on sales opportunities / new offerings to determine expected returnEnsure tools are in place to gauge actual results vs. upfront / business case analysisProvide due diligence support for acquisitions Support accounting organization during monthly close cycle Coordinate development of annual budget process Define critical assumptions / drivers Provide scenario analysis on critical assumptions Requirements include: Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance required; Masters preferred Five or more years in financial analysis roleThorough knowledge of financial evaluation methods NPV, IRRProficient use of Microsoft ExcelAbility to multi-taskDetail orientedTime and task management skills essentialAbility to work effectively with minimum supervision to meet deadlines Mansfield is one of the strongest partners in the fuel industry.
