Finance Manager Job in Chicago 60604, Illinois US
Finance Manager 10-10156462 A leading manufacturer is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.
This position is located in Chicago and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities: Organize and prepare three year forecast and annual Develop a standardized and bottom-up planning process, with appropriate involvement of operating managementCoordinate with CFO to set overall company and individual business unit financial targetsOrganize timeline for processCreate standardized templates Handle financial modelingProcess improvement and automationManage risk and opportunity analysisRun scenario analysisManage budgetingHandle weekly, monthly and quarterly forecastsAssist with accounting when neededRequirements: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with 7+ years of progressively responsible financial or business analysis experience.
CPA, MBA or MS is preferred.
Experience with a manufacturing company preferred.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
In depth experience using Excel and building financial models.
Solid understanding of business and project planning including the importance of accurate and timely forecasting.
Ability to successfully interface and communicate with all levels of executive and operating management.
Experience using budgeting software (Cognos, Hyperion) a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
