About the Position: The Manager, Finance is responsible for providing financial oversight, management and guidance of a media technology product still in start up mode.
The Manager will be a leader in driving the framework around pricing, policies, and reporting related to the new technology as well as implementing those strategies.
Specific day-to-day duties include supervision of forecast submissions, proactively tracking budgets, mentoring staff, oversee monthly close processes and FP&A reporting.
The Manager will be required to analyse and interpret results identifying key issues and trends.
The Manager will be a key business and strategic advisor to senior leadership.
This role also requires participation in multiple system integrations.
Responsibilities: · Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills to help drive decisions.
· Prior experience in finance with a media company or product preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment while being flexible and accountable.
· Ability to lead finance/product team discussions on financial management results and pricing.
· Oversee preparation of yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts.
· Leader in development and career path for staff members.
· Require little direction to prioritize and streamline tasks while managing staff to meet ongoing deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications: · Undergraduate degree with emphasis in business-related field.
· High competency with MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
· Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks.
· Solid foundation of accounting concepts.
· Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
