Finance Manager, Indirect Spend Job in Grand Rapids, Michigan US
A well established West Michigan manufacturer is looking to add a Finance Manager to support its supply chain operation.
This position will support indirect spend within the purchasing area and will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and performing a variety of special analyses and projects.
Functions Include: Prepare and evaluate financial models to be used in economic / financial research and analyses for use in the development of business strategies and in subsequent analyses of resultsDefine and get agreements on cost savings methodologyProvide past visibility and future insight into cost savingsPerform post audits of major savings projectsIdentify risks and opportunities related to cost savingsSupport buyers with vendor risk assessments and identifying contract financial exposureFinance Management Qualifications: Minimum 8-10 years of experience with at least 3-5 of those years with experience in Supply Chain FinanceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredMaster's Degree or CPA / CMA is preferredExperience working in a Fortune 500 size company
