Finance Clerk Job in Chicago 60604, Illinois US
We have an immediate opening in our Chicago office for a Finance Clerk.
The selected candidate will divide their time 50/50 between supporting AP and Contracts to Collections (C2C).
Responsibilities include: C2C-˜ Search and collect unclaimed cash by state˜ Using Excel, create and update AR watch list as well bankruptcy reports˜ Uploading contracts & contact briefs˜ Validate and mail AR reminder letters˜ Provide back-up on project set-up as well as back-up to C2C staff AP-˜ Responsible for opening, date stamping, and cataloging mail on a daily basis˜ Filing of all invoices and employee expense reports˜ Providing back-up and support to AP staffPosition Requirements: ˜ At least 2 years of experience in a Finance department˜ Intermediate working knowledge of Word and Excel˜ Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must˜ Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team˜ Strong attention to detailThe company offers competitive compensation packages including an incentive compensation plan, comprehensive medical/dental/life insurance, 401(k) and employee stock purchase plans.
