Field Service Representative Job in Detroit, Michigan US
Yoh has contract opportunities for Field Service Representatives to join our client in the Detroit, MI and Buffalo, NY areas.
These roles support the SBInet Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program.
Job Responsibilities: The successful candidates will be based at the client facility in Buffalo and in Detroit, with primary duties supporting the SBInet systems and equipment in other sectors as needed.
Performs and/or directs organizational level preventive and corrective maintenance and technical support of delivered equipment.
Develops and implements routine and advanced troubleshooting procedures to isolate equipment problems not detected by system diagnostics or detailed by available technical documentation.
Documents field site planning and deployment activities and reports events to the appropriate operational and management levels.
Interprets technical documentation to implement field solutions and provides suggestions on improvements to technical documentation.
Provides specialized on-the-job training to other field service representatives and customer technical representatives as needed, or requested by management.
Develops and provides solutions to a wide variety of technically complex problems and appropriately documents results.
Adapts quickly to changing customer requirements.
Communicates efficiently and effectively with program management, the customer, CBP field agents and fellow field service representatives.
Performs appropriate business management activities and maintains the administrative functions of a field office and remote site(s).
Job Qualifications: Individual must currently possess a security clearance and be able to pass a background investigation for award of Final Suitability status from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Programs Security Division.
