Position Location: Zargis Medical's Princeton, NJ Research Lab. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL.
Position Description: We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who is familiar with web-based technologies and can work part-time (20 hours per week) on development of a case-based medical education system.
Candidates MUST BE LOCAL and possess strong project management attributes including documentation and communications skills used both inwardly and outwardly.
Requirements: 3+ years experience in developing and implementing web applications solutions including utilizing Content Management and web publishing systems.
Demonstrated understanding of software development using full life-cycle methods.
Familiar with phases and major deliverables of a web based architecture.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work with multiple priorities and collaboratively with a team.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.An educational focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Knowledge of the various roles (student, teacher, administrator) and their interactions in an educational system.
A schedule that permits 20 hours per week for educational system development.
Experience with Joomla, Silverlight, Ruby-on-Rails, and Plone a plus.
