Barry-Wehmillers Design Group has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Designer / Drafter.
This is a 1 year temporary assignment.
Education Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent technical degree.
Experience Minimum 7-10 years of AutoCAD experience with manufacturing automation required; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
Experience with packaging automation specifically in the food & beverage industry is highly preferred.
Requirements/Responsibilities· Create and revise drawings in an accurate and complete manner conforming to drafting standards.
· Pull prints, work from marked up prints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce working drawings.
· Perform engineering file updates and maintenance.
· Refine ideas and concepts originated by others and develop improvements.
· Requires excellent communication skills, impeccable proofing and checking skills, ability to work independently or with a team.
RelocationWe are recruiting candidates local to Jonesboro, AR. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
TravelMinimal travel required outside of the Jonesboro, AR area.
