Exercise Physiologist Job in Scottsdale 85260, Arizona US
Job Description We are an industry-leading network of health care professionals specializing in the treatment and care for morbid obesity, with the most comprehensive system for the treatment of obesity, through a network of physicians, health care professionals, surgical centers and support and aftercare resources, specializing in the bariatric procedure.
The American Institute of Gastric Banding specializes in the LAP-Band procedure.
We currently have a full position for Exercise Physiologist in our Scottsdale facility.
Exercise Physiologist Provides support for diagnostics, by performing all cardiac, pulmonary and exercise testing on diagnostic patients.
The exercise physiologist will control the process for this testing including all calibration of the machines, conducting the initial interview and review of paperwork, conducting the test itself and making sure tests are evaluated properly and properly documented in the patient chart.
Lead person for the exercise portion of the aftercare program.
Individual will do our nutritional counseling as well.
They will assist the Mid level practitioners and Medical Director in anyway needed for proper patient care.
Qualifications Bachelor degree in exercise physiology.
Knowledge of computer spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (WORD) and windows.
Organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outgoing personality with ability to empathize and communicate with patients.
