Our client in Ft. Worth, Texas is seeking an Estate Tax Accountant on a temp to possible hire basis to join their law firm.
Legal experience is a huge plus but not required.
Duties and Requirements: 3-5 years of estate and trust tax experienceMust be proficient with ExcelAccurate and timely preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns for decedents, including the gathering of all necessary information in the most effective and efficient manner possibleProvide postmortem tax planning centered on interesting and challenging tax scenariosDemonstrated experience with at 3-5 years of direct preparation experience with prep & review of complex estatesSome individual and fiduciary tax backgroundExperience with all aspects of estate settlement process, and a background in postmortem tax planningExperience with State Tax Returns, Preparation work, and GuardianshipMust be highly professional and able to interface with high net worth clients.
