Environmental Engineer Job in Edison 08837, New Jersey US
Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTONŽ) has an exceptional opportunity in our Edison office for an Environmental Engineer.
Candidates will perform environmental risk assessments relating to hazardous waste and oil releases, including extent of contamination studies.
Conduct evaluations and cost/benefit analysis for site cleanup alternatives and recommend a plan/design for treatability, including soil vapor extraction, incineration, and soil washing.
On site documentation, air monitoring, and preparation if site reports in response to environmental challeges in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Duties will encompass emergency response, removal assessments, and removal actions under the EPA START Program.BS Degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical), or associated field plus 6 years experience in environmental consulting is required.
40-Hour OSHA Certification is required.
Experience in the donning and doffing of PPE (Level B through Level D), multi-media sample collection, use/application of air monitoring instrumentation, GPS and GIS is desired.
Understanding and working knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, organizational and project management skills, and excellent computer and report writing skills is desired.
Travel and field work is required.
