Enterprise Architect **Only candidates with management consulting backgrounds AND/OR financial services will be considered for this role** Responsibilities -Manage engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design, and management of successful IT improvement programs in collaboration with clients.

-Build trusted relationships as a strategic technology advisor with clients, and work internally across advisory teams to help bring clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end business and IT transformation services to effectively address their business challenges.

-Collaborate with other members of their engagement teams to plan engagements and develop project plans and work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.

-Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and technology organizations.

-Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.

-Lead and coordinate enterprise level architecture development efforts on client engagements, specific experience developing enterprise level applications/systems architectures, information architectures, and infrastructure architectures in the financial services industry is critical -Develop and apply various Enterprise Architecture (EA) maturity models to perform a comprehensive EA maturity diagnostic assessment -Provide direction for approaches to broad architectural concerns impacting various areas of client's business and translate corporate strategy into enterprise level architectural requirements -Facilitate discussions with technical and business subject-matter resources to document requirements, establish a vision, and articulate alternatives for future state enterprise architectures across various architecture domains -Advise on the structure, alignment, and governance of the EA organization within IT and advise on best practices around EA standards, frameworks, governance models, product sets Requirements: -Enterprise Architecture development experience in applications, information or infrastructure domains -Business Architecture development (conceptual and logical level definition) -Broad knowledge across key architecture domains (portal, app, data, infrastructure, integration/middleware, security) -Reference architecture development (conceptual and logical level) -Knowledge of core technologies, including open standards, database, and integration technologies -Enterprise Architecture organizational design -Enterprise Architecture governance development (standards, guidelines, compliance processes, review boards, etc) -Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design -SOA governance development -Services catalogue development Qualifications: -A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience -A degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred -A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in the financial services industry or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; preferably with a strong consulting background in banking, asset management, capital markets or insurance -Strong end-to-end sales and delivery skills (ie ability to scope/size a project, staff a team with the appropriate skill set, provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team, manage the delivery of an engagement workstream) -Experience on strategic consulting engagements developing detailed, compelling and analytical PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio deliverables to convey complex thoughts and ideas to various stakeholders -Demonstrated ability to bring order to ambiguous situations; candidates must be able to document a client's issues and requirements, and through concrete analysis and insights drawn from past experiences with other clients, determine root causes and develop improvement plans -Business development experience (identify and size opportunities; lead, manage proposal writing) -Experience in developing solution offerings and capabilities preferred.
