Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. is a leading disaster recovery (natural and man-made disasters) and construction company.

Ceres has been awarded contracts totaling over $700 million in disaster recovery work during the past eight years providing demolition, construction, and environmental services for a variety of governmental agencies.
Ceres also has many pre-position contracts valued up to $100 million each in various regions, on which task orders can be issued in the event of a disaster in a given area.
The company is headquartered in Minnesota with offices in Louisiana, Florida, and Texas.
This position will be working in Des Moines, IA on a heavy civil (flood control) project with the USACE.
Duties: · Conduct surveys to gather field data.
· Assist with project issues, budgets, and schedules.
· Other duties as assignedSkills: · Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering/Technical or similar field of expertise.
· Internship experience in construction a plus.
· Prior flood control/dirt project and underground utilities experience, including sewer & water a plus.
· Estimating Software (Auto Cad, Timberline, Pay-Dirt, etc.) · An understanding of engineering drawings, and specifications, and the ability to coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines is required.
· Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel) · Must be willing to travel 25% of the time.
