We are currently seeking Engineers for our Software Engineering group located at our Alpharetta, GA R&D office.
Scope of Responsibilities Design, Develop, and Support embedded software.
Develop corresponding documentation and handle full life cycle software development responsibility.
Specific Responsibilities Software Design, Development, Documentation, and TestRequirements DevelopmentHardware Interface DefinitionDevelopment PlanningDevelop Design and Interface Documentation Candidate Profile Embedded Software Development experience with VxWorks operating system a plusStrong ability to perform independent work.
Knowledge of Telecommunications Systems.
Understanding of Software Architectures.
Exposure to high availability software.
Real-Time Software Development.
Experience with development of one of the following protocols PNNI, OSPF, RSVP, OSI,Good written, oral communications skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and participate in design/development related discussions.
Desired Characteristics Knowledge of Telecommunications SystemsComputer Science or Engineering BackgroundC/C++ Software DevelopmentAppreciation of Software Development Methodologies Education / ExperienceTechnical Degree (BSEE or BSCS) or equivalent experience.
