Engagement Manager, mobile messaging programs Job in Boston 02114, Massachusetts US
We help clients use mobile messaging programs to increase sales, enhance customer loyalty, raise service leverage, reduce operational expenses, and make other communications channels more effective.
At mobile messaging solutions (mms) an Engagement Manager is the primary contact between us and a set of clients.
The Engagement Manager works with internal cross-discipline stakeholders to ensure that client needs are effectively met. Success is measured by client satisfaction, account revenue, and account profitability.
The ideal candidate excels at building client relationships, is a strategic thinker, and can deliver to mms objectives while remaining highly customer service oriented.
Responsibilities· Act as the senior day-to-day business interface with client, managing client expectations and project risk from program inception to conclusion· Guide clients in the design of effective mobile programs that meet the clients strategic business objectives· Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts, and participate in winning that business· Drive project definition to ensure mms can profitably deliver to client expectations; work with internal team members on project scoping and pricing; own Statement of Work construction and negotiation· Provide direction to mms project managers in driving successful delivery of programs· Keep an active pulse on the market, communicating external client and evolving market needs to internal stakeholders· Build and maintain a strong knowledge of mms solutions and mobile technologies and educate and inform clients of new offerings or opportunities· Develop and lead delivery of professional presentations to prospects and clients· Be an expert resource to clients and project teams on MMA and carrier compliance requirements· Analyze and report on program and project metrics, suggest approaches for program optimization· Support sales in new business pitches· Up to 40% travel requiredExperience and Required Skills· Bachelors degree and 10+ years professional experience in an interactive technology or digital agency environment· 5+ years engagement management experience, prior project management experience a plus· 5+ years mobile industry experience· Experience negotiating program scope, price, and contract terms (SOWs)· Proven ability to develop senior-level client relationships· Success managing long-term multi-phase programs, not just one-off projects/campaigns· Experience with multiple mobile non-voice services preferred (SMS, MMS, content, mobile web, apps, etc).
· Strong leadership and communication skills.
