Job InformationJob Title: Electronics Engineering TechnologistEmployer: XACT Downhole Telemetry Inc Location: Eastern, Kentucky USA Date: November 17, 2009 Job Type: Full Time Job Description XACT Downhole Telemetry Inc. is developing a revolutionary Acoustic Telemetry downhole MWD (Measurement While Drilling) tool.
With the current version of the tool in the early stages of commercialization and new versions under development, XACT is looking for a number of exceptional people to participate in the growth of an exciting new company.The Position: The successful candidate will work as a team member in the repair and maintenance of XACT's fleet of surface equipment and downhole tools.
The position requires trouble shooting at both the system level and board level, and may also involve some involvement in the design and coding of tool software.
Qualifications: 5 - 8 years experience in an engineering technician/technologist roleA diploma in electronics technologyPrevious experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of electronic equipment.
Some experience in software would be an asset.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
