For additional information please visit www.a123systems.com.Reports to Electrical Supervisor Position OverviewResponsible for Installing and Wiring trays, racks, inverters as necessary into a 2MW battery pack Primary responsibilities Performing assembly functions required of a 2MW battery pack (includes mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring) while ensuring that all safety and regulations are being adhered to Completing necessary documentation Possibility of working with an apprentice or junior level electrician, and over-seeing their work Specific Skills/Abilities The position requires: Understanding and implementation of OSHA 29 CFR part 192 safety and health standards while guarding and working on exposed live parts Ability to work well with hands/tools, overhead as necessary (including torque drives) Attention to detail Ability to work in a confined area (20-53 foot containers) Ability to Communicate in English Education/Experience Journeyman or Master Electricians License (in Massachusetts) held for 3 years minimum Experience with DC voltage work, including installations and terminations (ie storage batteries, ups systems, naval background etc) Hands on knowledge and experience in RMS meter testing and documentation Minimum OSHA 10 hour certification card desired Experience in medium voltage (600-1KV) DC or AC desired 4 years minimum experience with commercial wiring.
Experience with lock out tag out safety experience.
