Electrical/Production Technician Job in Columbia City 46725, Indiana US
Job Purpose: Provide analysis, test, troubleshooting and fabrication support for Radio Frequency and related electronic circuitry on development programs under the guidance of lead engineer.
Also interface with manufacturing as necessary to provide RF analysis, test and troubleshooting support for production activities under the guidance of the Director of production Programs as well.
Fabricate custom test fixtures - including some mechanical assembly that requires the use of basic mechanical tools (drill press, etc).
lay out prototype printed wiring boards.
order and track prototype parts inventories.
Travel to Government facilities to support subassembly and system-level testing activities at those facilities.
Requirements: Candidates must meet ALL requirements.
*AS Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology*4 years minimum related experience.
*Capable of advanced fabrication/troubleshooting of RF, analog/audio, and digital/microprocessor circuitry.
*Must be able to interpret schematics and follow test processes.
Must be able to function with minimal supervision.
*Have experience with the ise of RF testing methods and equipment include RF signal generators, RF spectrum analyzers, and RF network analyzers.
*Previous laboratory experience is required.
*Must be a US Citizen.
*manufacturing experience is desirable.
