28/yearFinal Filing Date: 11/01/09 The Position: The Agricultural Commissioners Office is seeking an experienced Executive Secretary to serve as the executive assistant to the Department Head, and Animal Care and Control Director.
The incumbent will provide high level of administrative support and will organize and manage the Department Heads office; maintain Animal Care and Control's calendar and files; schedule, prepare agendas, and take minutes for meetings; create and edit documents; and help prepare presentations and background materials, tracks key documents, questionnaires, records, and deadlines and assists in the preparation of board agenda items and contracts.
The Executive Secretary will also have supervisory responsibilities for the administrative support staff.

Requirements: To qualify for this position you should have coursework or training in secretarial, administrative support, or business management principles and practices and three or more years of general clerical work experience.
