ETL Systems Analyst Job in Deerfield 60015, Illinois US
Job Description: Reporting to the IT - Business Analytics area as an ETL Systems Analyst supporting Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, you would be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of the company’s Data Warehouse solutions.
Responsibilities include: Designing and developing data collection and other processing activities from the transactional systems to the enterprise data warehouse.
Designing and developing Informatica Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes to support data marts, staging areas and enterprise data warehouse.
Performing data modeling, database design, metadata management and producing technical specifications and documentation.
Performing and managing tuning activities throughout all aspects of the data warehouse and producing efficient solutions.
Supporting and maintaining data warehouse processes to ensure reliable and efficient Business Intelligence solutions and end user adhoc reporting.
Interacting with internal business customers to define requirements and design technical solutions to meet requirements for Business Intelligence solutions.
Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Working with the project team to design, develop and implement Business Intelligence applications across functional areas.
Managing projects and coordinating the efforts of both internal and external resources.
Planning and managing project schedules and communicating project issues and assumptions.
A successful candidate will be someone who has strong technical knowledge coupled with solid follow through and problem solving skills.
Must be detail oriented and have a capacity for new technology.
Qualification Include: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline required Thorough understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts 5-7 years experience building Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions 5-7 years experience using Informatica, Oracle and SQL 3-5 years experience using MS SQL Server Analysis Services 3-5 years experience in Project Management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written) and ability to interface effectively throughout the organization.
