ETL Developer Job in Salt Lake City, Utah US
Kforce is seeking an ETL Developer for a client located in SLC, Utah.
This is a permanent position opportunity! The ETL Developer is responsible for the definition, development, and testing of the processes and programs necessary to extract data from the client's operational databases / files and deliver it to the desired target environments.
Duties include extraction, transformation, cleansing and loading of data into a data warehouse, data marts, etc. The ETL Developer is experienced with all of the techniques used to manage and maintain a data warehouse environment.
The ETL Developer defines the program specifications for the data migration processes as well as the necessary test plans used to ensure successful execution.
The ETL Developer is also responsible for managing the metadata associated with the ETL processes used to populate the data warehouse.
Knowledge of data warehousing ETL procedures such as changing dimension strategies and use of surrogate values is a necessity.
