EPIC Ambulatory Cutover / Deployment Analyst Job in Los Angeles, California US
This individual will be responsible for thoroughly planning and coordinating the go-live activities of the Epic Ambulatory application.
The role is responsible for working with other technical leads to coordinate the implementation of the following technical activities: infrastructure readiness (production server and access server - Citrix); workstation and peripheral implementation; pre-go-live conversion of patients, visits and images, plus post-go-live conversion of charges; readiness to support one month of pre-go-live data entry related to appointments; readiness of access security and user logons; redirection of interfaces, per schedule, from legacy systems to Epic; enabling new interfaces and extracts/ftps; and enabling new production reports schedule and feed to data warehouse.
Prior to go-live, this person will consolidate planning input from various sources, develop the go-live plan, obtain sign-off on the plan by project leadership, maintain the plan, and track progress through timely status reporting.
During the go-live timeframe, the role will communicate the schedule and direct the detailed cutover management activities from the initial configuration implementation setup through production go-live.
Specific Requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Prior experience leading a successful cutover of Epic modulesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to concurrently coordinate with multiple technical resources in a well-organized mannerEnterprise systems and/or software knowledge and proven ability to develop domain knowledge quicklyDetail oriented, highly disciplined and self-directedAdaptable to dynamic environments and ability to work with a broad range of personnel and changing prioritiesExperience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and MS Visio5 -7 years of experience with enterprise systemsBS in Computer Science, Business Management, or related discipline
