McKesson Specialty Care Solutions has the unique expertise and experience to deliver the services manufacturers, payors and providers need to ensure specialty drugs, coordinated reimbursement, and clinical services are available to patients with complex diseases.Position DescriptionManage the development and product life cycle for a suite of healthcare technology products Primarily responsible for the product management of healthcare technology productsResponsible for managing projects related to the enhancement of existing products and development of new productsWork with business stakeholders to define requirements for product development and evolutionTrack project progress and communicating timelines to the business Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects related to the development of applicationsResearch market needs as they pertain to the technologiesCollect customer feedback on enhancements and validatePrepare business case for new development and enhancementsMonitor product development and make decisions on scope Write requirements for new development and enhancementsWork with business stakeholders to define requirementsCommunicate timelines and functionality specifications to Marketing and other business stakeholders Work with development and QA teams to assure delivery of projects on timeProvide product demonstrations as neededProvide training to internal staff as neededAdditional Knowledge & SkillsDemonstrated ability and experience in software applications for a medical and/or technical audienceClinical, financial, administrative and departmental experience with the following is a plus: Electronic Medical Record, Practice Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems, etc.Excellent communication, presentation and communication skills, both verbal, non-verbal and written Ability to work as part of a team and independently Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to self motivate and operate autonomouslyDetail oriented and accountableProduct management experience in the Oncology space with either EMR or Practice Management applications highly preferred.Minimum RequirementsEducationBachelor¿s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field. Advanced degree (masters, PHD, MD, etc.) preferred.Business Experience5+ years of technology product management experience in the healthcare industryEducationBachelor¿s Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
