Equal Employment Opportunity Officer for Compliance and Workforce Diversity City of Niagara Falls Immediate opening for a full time position involving responsibility for ensuring equal employment opportunities for qualified job applicants, employees, & City residents; devising plans to further workplace diversity; investigating complaints of discrimination; acting as a liaison with Human Rights Commission, State & Federal Authorities.
Also acts as the City?s ADA Coord.
Min. Quals.
: BA & 5 yrs. prof.
exp. in manpower development or training, equal employment, labor relations, minority recruitment, or experience involving the investigation of claims, complaints, or incidents.
This experience must have included the development of at least one EEO plan and familiarity with EEO laws and investigation of EEO complaints.
Additional education beyond a BA may be substituted for up to 2yrs.

Special Requirement: Possession of a NYS driver?s lic., or demonstrated ability to meet transportation needs of the job. City residency required within 6 mos. of appt.
Salary: $60,000/yr.
