ECM (Content Management) Consultant Job in Bloomington 61705, Illinois US
TEKsystems is seeking qualified and interested individuals in a long-term position in Bloomington, IL at a Fortune 500 company.
TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced IT Professional to join our team in Bloomington, IL in a long-term contract opportunity.
Our client is currently reviewing whether they should upgrade or replace the Oracle Universal Content Management system with a replacement enterprise content management system.
Some of the products that they are looking to replace OUCM with include: SDL Tridion, I-WCM, or Sharepoint.
The selected individual will assist in implementing and testing these alternative ECM products.
He/she will work with the existing project team to then evaluate the products and determine which would fit best within the enterprise environment.
Other responsibilities on this team will include supporting end-users of the current OUCM tool, reviewing the current challenges of OUCM and assisting the business to overcome those challenges through creative business solutions and customizations.
Java development and testing experience is required for this opportunity; as this is a large enterprise environment.
There are no "out of the box" implementations in such a complex environment, and connections to the applications need to be developed (which will be a portion of the selected individuals job responsibilities).
