District Sales Manager Job in Brownstown 48193, Michigan US
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the tactical marketing and selling within assigned accounts, instituting training and education as well as sales strategies to sales team.
Responsible for meeting supplier and company product expectations in distribution and objectives.
Plans and directs how programs and case quotas will be executed.
Visits accounts to analyze store needs, build rapport, and provide feedback to sales representatives, management, and suppliers.
Provides hands on support to sales team to evaluate individual strengths and weaknesses.
Responsible for resolving problems, complaints, and discrepancies.
Responsible for coordinating successful supplier visits to the marketplacePosition Requirements: College degree preferred and 7 to 8 years of experience in the Beverage/Alcohol industry and/or training in related field.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are a must.
Strong computer and analytical skills.
Good decision-making skills and ability to follow through on detail.
Ability and willingness to utilize technology provided to perform the job. Physical Consideration: Vision correctable to 20/20; hearing correctable to normal; ability to stoop, stand, reach, and walk; use of fingers, hands and arms; ability to routinely lift up to 35 pounds.
