IMS is currently seeking a Distribution Manager to manage the operation in our Kenosha, WI distribution facility.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Distribution.
Primary duties and responsibilities include: Manage warehouse operations; work with the account teams to plan projects, including timelines, staff, and cost quotesEnsure each project is completed on-time and within budgetRecommend new processes and procedures to increase efficiencies while reducing costs Lead and motivate a team of Distribution Associates to deliver high levels of productivity and quality workmanshipProvide on-going training, development and feedback via coaching and counseling to staff Ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures related to safety Ensure warehouse is in compliance with all state and federal laws (OSHA) The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of five years of warehouse leadership experience, including management of staff, timelines and budgets.
Strong leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team is a must.
Candidates must have strong problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, safety conscious and committed to the overall success of the facility and company.
Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests.
Experience in safety training and OSHA compliance is preferred.
Microsoft Word and Excel experience is required; AS 400 experience a plus.
