Director of Orthopedics Job in Palm Springs, California US
Clinical Director of Orthopedic Institutes: Responsible for Bone & Joint Institute and Arthritis Institute - Establish and maintain direction, operational practices, procedures, and standards for the organization, operation and performance pertinent to the delivery of patient care.
Serve as clinical resource for patient care to include patient education and promotion of the service line.
Recruit, train, and supervise the clinical staff.
Establish work objectives for the clinical staff, determine short and long range goals, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
Consult with and advise the COO and CNO regarding needs, goals, clinical outcomes, and problems relating to the clinical staff.
Maintain staff productivity to budgeted standards.
Develop professional competence through participation in continuing educational programs.
Licensed Registered Nurse in CA; Bachelors degree preferred; minimum 5 yrs clinical experience, preferably with orthopedic patients; minimum 3 years management experience; ability to communicate with poise and professionalism; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, computer proficiency to include MS Office
