Director of Merchandising Operations Project Management (216945-055) Job in Eden Prairie 55344, Minnesota US
Overview: You will ensure ongoing optimization of Merchandising contribution margin through strategic and technological innovation, resource efficiency maximization, and the effective management of key projects and partners.
Position Summary: Responsible for managing critical Merchandising strategic and technological, cross-functional initiatives to ensure on time and on budget delivery, and optimized innovative outcomes.
Responsible for measuring and managing collective departmental customer needs, current and future, and partnering with internal and external development partners to ensure those needs are being met. Owns the relationship management of critical internal and external development partners, and the search for new prospective partnerships that will help drive future innovation.
Responsible for ongoing training and user optimization of all internal operating systems.Key Accountabilities: Work closely with the VP of Merchandising Operations and collaboratively with Merchandising Leadership Team, the Merchandising user community and internal and external cross-functional partners to develop short and long term strategic innovation plans to optimize departmental resource efficiency and growth potential.
Work with external technological partners to ensure that existing systems are optimized and growing, developing at a pace consistent with organizational need.Own the existing external technological partner relationships, and/or develop new partner relationships that can keep the Bluestem business at world class innovative technological levels.
Partner with internal cross-functional groups to understand the impacts/opportunities to Merchandising via other cross functional project strategies.
Manage project status communications to the Merchandising user group to ensure all relevant team members, and the Leadership Team are well informed on project statuses.
Manage the development and implementation of an application training plan to ensure that all users/applications are optimized to maximize the ongoing investment benefit from new project investments.
Manage the external research and benchmarking process to ensure that Bluestem remains world class in its innovative approach to managing the business.
