Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (PK-12) Job in 01002
AMHERST-PELHAM Regional School District AMHERST, MASSACHUSETTS Amherst, located in the beautiful Pioneer Valley, is home to two colleges and the University of Massachusetts and is rich ineducational, cultural and recreational resources.
The district has a strong commitment to academic excellence and multicultural education.
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (PK-12) Lead district staff in standards-based, data-driven, continuous improvement of curriculum and instruction in order to maximizeteacher effectiveness and student achievement and engagement.
Requires Masters or higher in Public School/Educational Admin.
; valid MAAsst.
Superintendent/ Superintendent and/or Director/Supervisor cert.
; standards-based curriculumdevelopment, differentiated instruction, and effective school research leadership experience; and public school teaching exp. Elementary Principal Lead Pelham Elementary School, a high-achieving, small, rural K-6 school serving 130 students.
Also, lead Special EducationTeam Meetings and provide some special education services to students.
Requires MA Principal/Asst.
Principal cert.
; Special Education cert.
; strong academic background; and strong leadership and administration skills.
Prior admin.
exp. and advanceddegree preferred.
