Director of Budget & Finance/Treasurer Job in Dartmouth 02747, Massachusetts US
The Town of Dartmouth is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Budget and Finance, due to the retirement of the current Director.
The position is responsible for planning, directing and controlling all financial and accounting program and financial reporting functions of the Town, including overseeing the operations of the Treasurers Division, Town Accountants Division, Town Collectors Division and coordinating the functions and procedures of the Assessors Office.
The successful applicant must be experienced in all aspects of municipal accounting, financial reporting, fiscal planning, the procurement of municipal services and supplies, and the practice of computerized financial applications.
Experience with UMASS Accounting and Munis software is preferred.
The minimum requirements are a Masters Degree in business administration or public administration, five years experience in municipal financial administration at a supervisory level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary range is $95,000 - $105,000, EEO/AA Employer.
