This Director of Accounting position has been opened due to overall growth of the company and will support a large international realm dealing directly with international/inter company consolidations, SOX and strategic BU support.
This is a great company involved in an expanding Medical industry!- Manage business unit inter-company elimination, consolidation and close processes.
- Develop and implement business unit accounting policies in line with IFRS and global accounting policies.
- Ensure effective control, calculation & monitoring of third party royalty revenues.
- Liaise tax on local and global tax and transfer pricing issues.
- Improve overall management of costs across the business unit.Job Experience: - Masters degree preferred.
- CPA or equivalent highly desired - Must have successful experience managing a team of 2-3 at the minimum - Leadership and ability to influence others - Highly motivated and self-managed - Strong planning and organizational skills - Ability to work well in the fast paced environment - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to mentor, coach a team of accounting professionalsMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
