Military moms are defined as military wives, girlfriends, moms and service members of the Air Force, Coast Guard, Army, Army National Guard, Navy and Marines.

CafeMom has dozens of groups across branches but is now seeking to find a dynamic, entrepreneurial Military Mom leader who can help introduce CafeMom Military Groups across the country.

CafeMom will work closely with the Director, Military Moms to develop the best strategy for helping connect military moms nationwide.

It is likely that the Director will oversee the development and execution of Mom Groups on military bases across the country including recruiting leaders on each base, providing them training and resources, and even allowing a modest budget for groups that want to hold local events, etc. The key goal for the Director, Military Moms is to grow the overall category of Military moms groups on CafeMom.

This will be measured based on the number of moms joining military groups, the number of visitors to these groups, the number of posts being made, and the total views to these groups.

Ultimately, it is our goal that CafeMom become an important part of moms daily lives that helps her relax, gives her support, makes her happier, and ultimately improves the quality of her life.The Director, Military Moms will lead our efforts to ensure a quality mom experience and connect moms with moms like them across CafeMom.

Responsibilities: · Serve as the leader of our efforts to recruit and deliver a great experience to Military Moms.

· Lead the development of our larger strategy to grow our Military Groups helping all types of moms connect to moms like them· Recruit dynamic moms to run groups on base· Train and support them on a day to day basis so they can grow their groups· Roll up sleeves and spend substantial time on the site and in the groups helping out and getting to understand our moms and where we are winning or not delivering for them· Work with product and marketing teams to develop new offerings and features for our military momsExperience: · Active user of community sites fundamental understanding of how they work· Extensive community management experience - working with users, training and managing site leaders, etc.· Deep insight into moms · Strong management and marketing skills· Great communicator deal with team and users in honest, straightforward mannerCompensation: A competitive base salary will be offered.
