More information about Thomson Reuters and its financial performance can be found on www.ThomsonReuters.com. Position supports Sr. Director Finance of TRTA in achieving TRTA's financial and strategic goals while providing support and maintaining a strong controlled environment.
Specific roles include: Understanding and reporting the drivers of free cash flow and managing cash flow metricsForecasting of balance sheet accountsDriving process improvements for key accounts and establishing clear measurement systems for evaluating process improvementsAnalyzing working capital metricsReviewing major accounting policies and ensuring consistent application across TRTAAnalyzing fluctuations in key balance sheet accountsSignificant interaction with Financial Planning & Analysis teamParticipation in Finance special projects as needed Position is located in the New York City office.
There will also be approximately 25% travel within the US. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
CPA with a minimum of 8 years public / private work experience.
Five years Big 4 experience required.
Large company experience and/or publishing software experience a plus.
Individual must have a solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and Operations.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Must be a team player with initiative and demonstrated ability to work in a challenging work environment.
Strong work ethic and ability to interact well with people at various levels within the organization.
